Agreed. It's what made me drop iPhone and move to android.
Have you checked out Google labs yet? It can integrate Bard into Gmail so you don't even need to leave the software.
So it's actually quite good. An acquired taste.
I personally do all my hosting with tsohost.
I currently use a refurbished dell Latitude 7390. You can find them relatively cheap.
