Oh absolutely. I'm not putting proprietary tech in my head. (Says the gal who takes proprietary psychiatric meds...)

I don't know that AI will reach the same level of quality as workers unless it reaches the same level consciousness as humans or, at the very least, as non-human animals. At which point we need to start considering the rights of the AI, which will lead to the same workers' rights arguments except the Right will claim AI should have no rights because they already do that to living humans in the present.

Ah, so everyone else should work 60 hours a week for minimal pay, but he, since he gets his pay through stocks and such and therefore gets no regular wage despite making loads more than the average worker, shouldn't have to work at all.

Oxygen Not Included has toilets and people shitting the floor if they can't get to one. Abiotic Factor has a pooping mini game you have to play when you use the toilet, which is not super often but more so than I'd like.

I did end up getting into ham radio, and one of my motivations was to keep in contact during a weather emergency as we get wild weather this time of year too. Thankfully there's a repeater nearby that talks about the weather and has spotters getting together when severe weather does come. I mostly rely on them these days. I think they are led by NWS staff, but amateurs from all over the area talk on there.

My high school digital media class taught us how to use the GNU Image Manipulation Program. I fell in love with it and have used it while vehemently not using PS.

At least in the smoking example, it's not necessarily denial; addiction is a powerful thing. People are used to their way of life, and Trump represents the status quo (which so do Democrats, but whatever) People are too afraid of the change, or afraid they'll be unable to handle the change, so they may hold their nose and vote for him. Denial is certainly a possibility, and in the case of Trump it may be the more likely option. But fear and routine certainly influence people too without necessarily driving them into deep denial.

Bipartisanship is just class solidarity but in the ruling class.

I guess that makes sense. About the trans thing, I guess that's just how it's been presented to me. I came from a deeply conservative background and am working through a lot of deprogramming and relearning. Also Tumblr lib programming to undo too.

I would say to look up muffing, but maybe "look up" might be inadvisable. Anyway it's a non-anal way penis-havers can experience penetration. (sorry if too horny for Hexbear)

So as I understand it, psychopathy is a disorder that incorporates low empathy and antisocial behaviors. A psychopath need not be a mass murderer and can, in fact, be indistinguishable from any other person on the street. The connotation of being a harmful, violent person is not necessarily the reality. My stance is "Any person is capable of any thing."
