Trump can now respond "Democrats literally tried to kill me but yet I'm the threat" and win any argument on that topic. It's an absolute lie but no one, especially low-info voters, care at this point. It may not switch any voters but it almost guarentees that a lot more Republicans will vote and clueless moderates will think less of Biden. Combine this with Biden already being a absolute embarrassment and it's not hard to see this as a deathblow.

Plus, the optics of the assassination were fucking fantastic. That fist raised photo will literally be in history books for 50+ years. Trump may not be competent, but his team never lets a good PR opportunity go to waste.

Most came to leftism more so because it gave political legitimacy to personal grievances, not a desire for truth. I read the original article and the only thing I have against it is the anti-synthetic peyote stance they have. I get it's a sacred plant but if the option is people foraging it to extinction or letting them have a lab grown version then just let them make it in the lab. I've met a few and while they do emanate an incomprehensible aura they aren't scary per say. It's more like reality is breaking as your human mind struggles to comprehend. It's not a pleasant sensation at first but you can get used to it surprisingly quickly.

They do feel bad and try to make it as painless as possible for humans. They don't take pleasure in scaring you and would prefer to just appear as humans. The problem is that monkey brains just wouldn't listen as much to a humanoid telling you to do things.

The cool/class-conscious young people get fucking murdered and don't live to old age. Older folks trend rich because the rich survive. Rich people trend more reactionary. An entire generation of cool LGBTQ+ folks got wiped out from HIV. I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding how a NT person experiences social interaction. It is almost entirely unconscious for them. They are running on literal monkey social software, no offense to NT comrades of course. They make connections, form relationships, and interact with very little conscious thought. The problem with using this monkey social software is that it has the morals of a monkey. I.E. it identifies the other, that being you and me, and unconsciously removes you from the potential friend pool.

If you could ask them "Why didn't you talk with me?" they probably wouldn't be able to give you an answer. The best is an ad hoc "bad vibe" which just means you're ND in 95% of cases. But unless they are intimately conscious of how their brains process social information they literally have no idea why they won't talk to you. Because of this, you have to be the one to break through to them. It sucks, think of it as a person of color having to work 2x as hard to get the same job as a white person.

The "good" news is that once you break through to the friend stage your behavior no longer gives off "bad vibes" and you just become the ND friend. Use their own unconscious bias against them to make friends. If you act as if you're friends with someone they'll feel the social pressure and ad hoc think of you as a friend.

You said you supported Social Democracy not Democratic Socialism. Dem Socs are well-meaning but idealistic, not optimistic but the political philosophy of idealism. Soc Dems are supporters of a kinder capitalism for the Imperial core but keeping the child slaves mining cobalt in the Congo.
