Listen, I love RMS, but can we not let this community turn into unnuanced political rants? Microblogs and screenshots of microblogs are not a good venue for political opinions. This community is for funny memes, not famous people's cold takes.

Texas governor Abbott said he would like Texas to kill immigrants crossing the border, if he could get away with it. I'm sure most Republicans are more harmful to the US than most refugees. Does that justify shooting them?

You look at the nightmarish horror perpetrated by homegrown americans (as in school shooters, and mass murder) and you realize, the immigrants look like saints by comparison to us. These are people whose values far exceed our own, including their abilities to see worth in people and to have empathy for other humans.

But then again, Jeff Dahmer looks like a saint compared to Greg Abbott. He is the definition of vile monstrosity.
