This why i hate disingenuous libs who say "socialist states hate LGBTQ people". yea USSR wasn't very queer friendly but they industrialized in like 1930s and died before a gay revolution ussr-cry . Look at Cuba for instance.

China will only progress in terms of LGBTQ rights while U.S. regresses.
