Look, I don't really think I want to know, but curiousity wins. What is this for? I recognize the two different functions, but how are they combined?

I read that as bioengineering and was confused as hell for a minute.

It does seem very inconvenient to sit on. Are you supposed to just stand all the time while wearing it? Also, can't wear regular size (under-)pants, unless maybe they have a hole in the exact right spot. Maybe it's only a party accessory, not for regular everyday use.
