The goal is to give others who fear Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed...

He's not even a socialist or politically fringe at all, tf do they "fear," his last name?

It's infuriating how nakedly obvious the goal of the democrat machine is, and yet liberals will still refuse to see that

-Don't vote for El-Sayed to "punish Donald Trump" (lmao) vs

-"How do you feel about not voting for Kamala Harris" 'righteous' furor

    El-Sayed isn't even that leftwing.

"When it comes to the question of socialism, I'm not a socialist. I'm just a capitalist who understands how capitalism works."

...has cited US actions during Russia's invasion of Ukraine and in Serbia during the 1990s as examples of beneficial US intervention.

In September 2025, he said that military aid to Ukraine was about "enforcing the rules of the rules-based international order in accordance with our allies"

He's a garden variety liberal that isn't easily cowed and has a handful of good positions, but one of them is opposition to Israel and another is taxing rich people, so out the window they throw him.

I'm just a capitalist who understands how capitalism works

If you're a capitalist invested in keeping the system going, some degree of social democracy is absolutely in your interest. Certainly more so than the status quo in the US.

    The full article: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/columnists/nolan-finley/2026/10/16/dem-leaders-urge-party-to-vote-none-of-the-above-in-senate-race-finley/92269640007/

The name on the byline is an editor and publishes a newsletter op ed called "The Right Take", which is billed as:

This seems to be a reactionary fascist local rag giving print space to a couple of washed-up Dem zionists and their nonsensical Hail Mary play:

Lon Johnson, a former Michigan Democratic Party chair, and David Kramer, a longtime Democratic strategist who has previously helped elect Democrats to the Senate, are leading the effort. Both supported Rep. Haley Stevens over El-Sayed in the August Democratic primary.

Interesting that they get angry when I do that to their candidates

El-Sayed isn't even DSA. He's just a progressive liberal. Anything to the left of Joe Biden is a threat to the democratic party lmao

The ending to the op-ed this piece is based on:

"Supporting a candidate is a choice, not an obligation. Party loyalty is not blind obedience. Support must be earned, and a vote is never owed."

Hahahaha! Your denouncing the entire Democrat electoral strategy.

Should save this article for when libs wax poetic about Hillary or Kamala and how we cost them those elections. Though the prevailing narrative with Kamala is apparently either about her laugh or that the election was stolen.

The Russians are probably behind this. Putin is trying to undermine El-Sayed and help Trump in the midterms! /s
