Just rub some ivermectin on it

How closely could they possibly be "watching" under this regime, honestly?
All the safeguards have been dismantled in the USA.
Asked what Washington was going to do about the risk of plague spreading from Russia, Trump said he had not spoken to the Kremlin about it.
"I hate to see them having it," he said, but added: "We'll help. Everybody who has that kind of a problem, we'll always help."
Also Trump: They could take out a city. Let 'em take out Los Angeles, let 'em take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay.
If it's not clear who he works for, you're really fucking stupid.

- Aggressive tyrants mass-murdering neighbors. Dropped a potential bioweapon. Oopsie.

- Starving people and disaster relief worldwide via USAID

Oh look, there goes the part of our government responsible for pandemic response, thanks, Elon.
Let’s put the blame squarely where it really belongs — on the backs of the millions of uneducated racist voters who would rather have a convicted felon, racist, pedophile as president than an intelligent black woman.
Here comes the fish tank cleaner, bleach and UV light cure.
"Big pharma won't tell you this, but what you need to do is shove a firecracker lubricated with the blood of 16 Venezuelan Poodle Moths up your butt, light it, and chug a class of lemur semen before it detonates. It is very, very difficult for the plague to take hold in a body that's been through that" -RFK Jr. probably
Watching as in wanting to copy the incident? The US watching anything inspires absolutely no confidence.
You think the whole purpose isn't to turn it loose on the US? Get the job done much faster than H5N1.
All I can say is my KN95 purchase 11/06/2024 is vindicated. I hate being right.
From the doctor interviewed in the article:
"But of course people's thought with any outbreak of infectious disease at all runs to... lockdowns and Covid and that is just not what's going to happen here."
Having N95 masks is a great idea. You're not going to need it for this one
Unfamiliar diseases are scary, but this is not a very infectious disease. Fears of a pandemic are unfounded in this case
Well you got another 1-3 years before they expire. Probably still better than most after that too, but they do expire.
Drones ain't doing the job so time to switch to biological weapons, nothing could go wrong with that...
Highly unlikely. In stark contrast to other warmongering nations Russia's battlefield isn't over the ocean.
Drones with rat pilots coming back over their border will be a thing if they try it.
Don't even need drones or rats for that. Russia has soldiers there. Contrary to media reports, most of them are actually survive to be rotated back home. They would bring the pathogene home with them.
Bio weapons can't be made to discern between friend and foe because there really isn't any difference for them to detect. And it's literally Slavs against Slavs there anyway; it's basically a civil war with western involvement.
From my 5 min toilet research the plague still has active cases per year so its not like it was extinct before. Mostly spreads with fleas and rats, which are not that of a problem in the developed world.
This was pneumonic plague iirc. Spread in the air?
Edit from the article:
People can be infected through:
- infected flea bites
- contact with bodily fluids or contaminated materials
- the inhalation of respiratory particles.
This isn’t natural strain.
Really? Pretty sure rats are everywhere and pets in the developed world still need regular flea checks and treatments.
The ramifications of rats and fleas seem less of a problem due to continuous pest control but they’re still very much there.
A lot of rats and fleas aren't carriers anymore it basically exists in a smattering of regions at this point. Fun fact every once in awhile people in the Southwestern US get infected usually either by bad luck or the occasional insane hippie eating a rat raw, no I am not joking that happens once in awhile. But yeah humans, rats, and fleas were basically in a weird infection ouroboros so when humans broke that chain it helped reduce it massively.
Also fun fact the plague that may have lead to Indo-Europeans migrating into Europe proper was probably spread through human to human contact since rats weren't all that much of a factor at the time.
Yeah we get a few cases in Colorado with some regularity. It’s why you don’t pick up prairie dogs and ground squirrels.

A lot of animal cases, but usually 3-4 human cases per year.

I could'a sworn those were in at least two layers of RFK JR's food pyramid...
