I had kind of assumed it was because previously they were asking applicants a question where they listed a bunch of stuff and said "Have you ever done this?" and it was mostly related to sex work, but bestiality was on the list. And after deciding they wouldn't penalize sex work, it seemed weird to ask about just bestiality because by comparison it almost never came up.

Yeah I think it's pretty clear that there's someone specific he wants to hire and this was getting in the way.
