It's come up a few times in comments recently and I finally got time to mock one up, but I don't have enough content to fill the boxes.

What are some staple lemmy experiences that could go on a bingo card?

Note: this is for fun. Let's have some positive vibes to go with the negative ones since Lemmy itself is a mixed bag.

Double edit: Apologizes was not spelled like that. This is it but I'm still open to suggestions and edits!

  • Excellent. Can "brings up love of trains in an unrelated conversation" have a separate space from "the world would be a utopia without cars"?

It's basically the same, but I really like trains and wanted an excuse to mention them.

Actual human responses, including real apologies at times when someone takes a comment the wrong way and then admits they did so. Never in all my years on the other platform did I see that happen.

I have both seen people admit mistakes and misunderstandings, and myself admitted them, multiple times on here. One such person I belatedly admitted was right on an argument did say what no does that on here, I must be a masterdebaitor. But I've seen it plenty albeit in a minority of circumstances.

I take exception to that programmer bullet! We always have reasonable conditionals for any and all jargon. There's actually an eponymous law about this, pointing out what happens when someone is wrong on the Internet. It's called Beckstrom's Law.

    • Sketchy guy tells a one-sided story about how he got banned multiple times on Reddit.

    • Everyone in the comments showering him with love, trashing Reddit, and completely ignoring the huge red flag that there must be some fucking reason why that guy got banned multiple times.

    Welcome to !reddit@lemmy.world.
