It's come up a few times in comments recently and I finally got time to mock one up, but I don't have enough content to fill the boxes.

What are some staple lemmy experiences that could go on a bingo card?

Note: this is for fun. Let's have some positive vibes to go with the negative ones since Lemmy itself is a mixed bag.

Double edit: Apologizes was not spelled like that. This is it but I'm still open to suggestions and edits!

idk I just kinda disassociated for a while and then this list was here

  • gossip about instances like social cliques
  • someone forgot to set the language on their post/comment
  • a poster has an obvious special interest
  • linux
  • obviously a human used ms paint here
  • thread takes an unexpected turn to horniness
  • lemming is surprised the rest of the fediverse exists
  • whimsy
  • someone wishes there was more niche content
  • federation lag
  • a wild mastodon/pixelfed user appears
  • beans
  • a commenter has clearly missed that they are responding to someone from a different country
  • a big chart/table of fedi statistics
  • a programmer is using a bunch of jargon for some reason

I take exception to that programmer bullet! We always have reasonable conditionals for any and all jargon. There's actually an eponymous law about this, pointing out what happens when someone is wrong on the Internet. It's called Beckstrom's Law.
