“He created a fictitious event featuring himself, who did nothing, as the hero of 9/11.”

While Republicans express “offense” at plans for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to attend September 11 remembrances this week due to his Muslim faith, President Donald Trump provoked outrage on Tuesday when he told what seems to be a fabricated story about his heroism following the terrorist attack.

Before a crowd that included over 100 first responders, Trump described being at ground zero with a construction crew he said he’d deployed to help with the aftermath of the attack. He described walking beneath the US Steel building, now known as One Liberty Plaza, which was believed to be at risk of collapsing.

“The United States Steel Building was creaking, really creaking, and we thought it was going to fall down. The truth is, it creaked a lot. It creaked. It still creaks, but it never came down,” Trump recalled. “And I’ll never forget two firemen. We thought it was coming down on top of us, and two firemen, big, strong guys—and I’m not the smallest guy in the world—they grabbed me under the arm, said, ‘Got to get out of here!’ And they literally lifted me up.”

“This is not easy to do. I’m big,” Trump continued. “They lifted me up, and they started running with me. I said, ‘Fellas, I can run myself,’ but they were amazing. But they thought it was coming down. It didn’t come down.”

Crazy to think both the towers were filled 100% with Christians.

Or that there were no Muslim first responders or Leos.

There's a couple lies there. No two firemen, no matter how strong, can lift his fat fucking ass up and run with it. Second, the only time Donny has ever tried to run was when he was chasing a little girl.

I remember Ronald Reagan mixing up facts with some of his film roles when the dementia struck. I'm sure this is also at least partly Trump losing his grip on reality due to dementia. This man has no business whatsoever in being in charge of a country. He should be in a nursing home.

He should be in a nursing home.

Well. He should be in prison. But yes.

A grave would be a lot better tbh. No need to keep wasting resources on him.

Graves are for remembering and honoring the fallen. Dump his carcass into the septic tank of the nearest outhouse, where he can fester with a few other nameless turds, utterly forgotten by everyone.

I don't disagree, but as someone who believes this life is all we get, he deserves to life in his failing brain, confined to a very small room with an uncomfortable bed, metal toilet, and contemplate all the evil he's done in his life, knowing that he will never set foot outside of that cage ever again.

Reagan would often recount events in films he was in as though they were real-life experiences, even before the dementia kicked in. He was prone to confabulation, though a less prolific liar than Trump. I think that was due to laziness rather than any matter of principle.

    What even is the story?

I was in a place and a thing creaked and I ran away with some assistance.

    Amazing. Loser.

The suggestion is that he was there "to help" and was staying despite the danger, but two burly underlings pulled him out because unlike their keen-eyed master, they were unable to assess the strength of the structure, or were perhaps simply not as brave as he.

The only thing he did during 9/11 was gloat that his building was now the tallest in NYC. And of course that was a lie.

Most mass shooters have been Republicans, so I don't think the GOP should be allowed to attend any event with a crowd.

Speaking of stolen valor, I'll never forget when a veteran gave Trump his purple heart, and Trump's response was offensive.

Trump didn't try to refuse it before accepting it. He didn't compliment the vet for his sacrifice or thank him for his service.

No, Trump just said, "I always wanted one of these." It's just what anybody who knows Trump would expect. He made it all about himself and what he wants.

He is emperor Nero. Completely delusional, absolutely convinced of his own genius, the endless monologues and speeches, the threatening and axing of anyone who doesn't praise him, playing golf while Rome burns down in a fire he orchestrated himself through his absolute ineptitude and lack of erudition or any semblance of a wise thought.

    Fucker even looks like him.

When we people learn that fascists have no shame, no care for truth, no care for logic, no care for intelligence? They don't fucking care, and all they do is laugh when they say things we repeat incredulously.

Motherfucker called into the Howard Stern show to brag how he now had the tallest building on the day of 911. There is proof of that.

MAGA claiming he meant 9/13 and one liberty plaza.

Why must they always interpret him and just not call out his bullshit.

He's a felon rapist pedo and enough Americans in the right geographical areas still voted for him.

This isn't going to stop those same people from continuing to force rapist pedos on the rest of us and destroy our futures. Changes must be made to our system that prevent the lowest among us from controlling the rest of us.

Wait to hear a story about Omaha Beach or Guadalcanal. And if Japan try something expect a story how he flew Enola Gay and how at that time gay means carefree and joyful, not today's meaning which is constructed by radical left and how he love to be gay back in a days.
