how... THE FUCK... can that be legal? How can you be appointed to a government position when you went to prison for abusing that exact position?
She isn't a clerk this time and is not supposed to have access to the voting system. Still an insanely idiotic move though. The guy she is replacing seems to be a total moron too. Colorado should deny her permission to leave the state. Problem solved.
I guess having her sentence commuted was attractive to the hiring manager? I don't know...nothing this past year has made sense...so this tracks. Unfucking believable.

I’m curious how this will turn out. Maybe she’ll gain access to things she shouldn’t be and force a recount. Maybe the county will vote more blue than expected.
The demographics of that county is most people live in the city, and most people are white and in their 40’s.
