I just wanted to comment on the artwork I tried re-reading and realizing at least 4 times, and clarify for the last half of the work, the panels:
- 3, 8, 9, 10, 11.
- Panel 3 - Is it correct that the panel shows the character choosing a lovely ice-cream holding on the counter/gallery?;
- Panel 8 - Is it correct that the character throwing the ice-cream to the bin that is already upside down, or did the ice-cream made it upside down on hit?;
- Panel 9 - Why and how did it (the bin?) blow up?;
- Panel 10 - How did the bin move from the back of the shop to the front?;
- Panel 11 - Who is Laila Blenderman, and what does the excerpt about her is supposed to mean?;
My sincere apologies for not realizing the artwork initially, but I am just curious and meanwhile want you appreciate heartfelt for effort and miracles you do, dear @FauxPseudo@lemmy.world ...
This particular Sunday edit by Gallagher is pretty inscrutable to me. It's clear that he's left the ice cream shop with his ice cream. He tastes it. Is shocked by it. And then I'm not sure what happens. Since the trash can isn't shown before that, I have to assume it's spontaneously manifested. Maybe it was the shock of licking an ice cream and finding it tastes like yourself? But in theory you should taste nothing when you taste yourself. So I have zero idea what is going on.
But then maybe he tasted it. Didn't kike the flavor of himself, rage tossed a trash can, made the best of things by finding a fish carcass to eat instead of the ice cream?
The last panel of a Sunday edition is always the author telling us about some cat that a reader told him about. In this case someone got a cat born in a junk yard on an American holiday and that cat has a lot of attitude.

Indeed, it's quite interesting what actually happened! Now I have a better understanding of the whole lovely comic!
And now the last panel makes an absolute sense! It's a dear miracle someone was born... and now they have a whole artwork as a tribute for their life existence in this infinitely magnificent world...
