Donald Trump’s administration has made billions of dollars in revenue from Venezuelan oil sales this year, but it’s proving tricky to work out where that money has gone.

The US took control of Venezuela’s oil exports earlier this year after the military operation resulting in the capture of president Nicolás Maduro.

Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez was installed as leader, and the US suspended some sanctions on Venezuela with Trump saying they would help “fix” Venezuela’s oil infrastructure to “start making money for the country.”

But, six months on from the US taking control of Venezuela’s oil exports, there is little evidence of any economic boost for the South American nation.

Everyone knows where this money has gone. What we don’t know is what extremely thinly veiled answer they are going to give the public, if they are ever going to even bother giving one. At this point it doesn’t seem like they even need to haha. But we all know where it’s gone.

But but daddy Donnie said this was the most transparent administration ever!!!! Don't you dare imply he lied when Biden was ten times worse! (This comment is sarcasm)

I mean, they are pretty transparent on how corrupt they are. They don't even hide it anymore.

Weird ass shit that could only come out of the mouth of an 'economist.' They're still pulling bodies out of buildings from the massive earthquake they had, and this clown thinks he sees economic indicators from the oil industry. Stop looking at stock charts and go touch grass.

He's using his bribes to bribe more people. If he goes down, they all go down. That would be the first step to get out of where the US is going.

U.S. law enforcement agencies no longer follow the money, as the Eppstein case proves beyond a shadow of a doubt.

It should be obvious to anyone that they now actually serve to facilitate crimes, not to solve them. If that weren’t the case, the entire U.S. Cabinet would already be in prison—the President foremost among them.
