They're sending missiles into civilian apartment buildings with full intent. That they don't always hit is the achievement of our anti-air.
Back in the Cold War, Soviet munitions were less accurate, so they made them more destructive so even a miss could damage the target. They've been forced to use a lot of old stockpiles since their "weekend excursion" has been going terribly most of its length.
Stray missile? Or a deliberate Russian probing action?
There's no way it was getting jammed 90km into Poland, so either a malfunction or a deliberate action, hopefully they can extract flight plans.
edit: nvm, it doesn't even use gps, just INS
90km is about 30mins off course. So a malfunction is possible. The guidance programming may be recoverable though.
