Hello! Been posting daily in hopes of getting some help. I will be honest, my first paycheck did come in last Friday, but being in an empty apartment gets expensive. I got groceries, but I didn't have any basics like even salt and pepper. Then my city is a World Cup host city, so Ubers are extra expensive right now. The city also just started charging for the bus this month after years of free bus service. Fortunately, I got some friends that are willing to help out with rides home from work for the week. I gave them some cash from my tips for gas, so I don't have to deal with Ubers for the rest of the week. I just have to cover bus fare for the rest of the week, which will be about $20
Then there was a flood this week, I had to walk through flood waters to get to the bus and ultimately get to work. This was the final blow on my non-slips that were already on their last legs. Now the sole is completely detached from the body, and I keep tripping over stuff because the sole will be hanging off my shoe. I haven't gotten new non-slips in years, if they weren't in such bad shape I'd just try waiting until next week when I have money again. But having to wear these shoes is so painful, my knees have been hurting like crazy every day when I get off.
