Pigeons are cute and sweet. It's a shame people think they're pests. It's not their fault our cities are dirty!

we abandon them, common pidgoeons are domesticated, they were our pets, they dont know how to survive, they helped us win WW2 they are veterans and we fucking failed them. sorry i get emotional about pigeons i want to capture a pet one one day.

I too wish to catch animals as pets like pokémon

Have never understood the hate for pidgeons, they're lovely birds

They unwillingly destroy our old architecture with their acidic shit, so as a medieval enthusiast I don't like having them around . Aside from that I don't get the spikes in non historical buildings, and hate for them in cities etc

They're smart and you can teach them all sorts of tricks too

i love pigeons, the way they walk is adorable

When I lived in a big city I liked that I could always identify a few of the same ones in my neighborhood by their weird colors and patterns. Way cooler than gulls.

they dont know how to build nests because they lived with us and we build their nests .. we betrayed them .. and if you try to connect with them , they are collectivly extremly scared of humans and i can not help but to feel the collective betrayls and Trauma they suffered in their fear. I am sure they tell their children of the ancient golden age , when they where adored and loved and vital for the Kingdoms functions...

In my entire life no pigeon has ever wronged me.

Something I can not say about a certain WHITE kind of bird...

Seagulls are barbarians. The scourge of the boardwalk.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 10 months ago

Fuuuuuuuuuuck a seagull

[–] [email protected] 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

you live on the sea you get punished with the gull, it's harsh but fair

[–] [email protected] 6 points 10 months ago

I got punished with the gulls and I'm over a day away from any ocean. Shit just ain't fair

Two pigeons built a nest on my student apartment's semi-abandoned balcony and I got to watch them hatch two chicks in two years from my kitchen

The only thing I miss from that place

[–] [email protected] 11 points 10 months ago

I like the noises they make and they're cute. When do we get around to classifying humans as pests?

grillman hate life itself so much that if life adapts to their anti-life city planning bullshit and actually has an ongoing presence amid their chemical-soaked lawns and stroads, they get mad at that life too grill-broke

My great grandfather kept lots of birds, that included some pigeons too. They're nice and friendly, which people tend to misunderstand. I used to enjoy feeding them when I was a kid.

Omg I love pigeons. The bigger and rounder, the better !

Who is this pigeon and why do you have a hand? Do you mean to tell me that you’re not actually an owl and have been personally lying to me this whole time?

It looks like you might be imprisoning the pigeon. I’ll have to drop by and take them home with me for cuddles. You know, just to make sure they’re fine with you.
