That's nodachi, historically very rare sword which was not used widely because it was designed for the footsoldiers to fight back cavalry charge - something which spear was way better at and the nodachi was so expensive (because the blade lenght it was very hard to forge) no footsoldier was able to afford that. Also almost nobody used it for dueling because it was too unwieldy.
