Wait, is it out? Haha, I watched the leak a while ago out of curiosity. What are people saying about the ending? Do they hate it?
I thought it was just okay. A little fanficy in places. I wasn't massively invested though so maybe I'd have hated it more if I expected the ending to be Shakespeare.

One part that made me roll my eyes hard though was their real life counterparts all had detailed Facebook accounts showing that they all just happened to have perfectly happy lives. Like come on, I can imagine Kingers original body having a Facebook account but the rest of them are Zoomers (I think?) do Zoomers even use Facebook?
I also wasn't super invested, I was introduced to tadc a few months ago so I haven't been super invested for years like some other people. That being said I thought it was okay, it would've been cool for some other characters to get more focus other than Jax. It also felt a little rushed, it might've been better if they had left episode 8 off and just made a movie length finale with more time to tie up loose strings

Stuff like Caine coming back from deletion with basically no explanation was unsatisfying, there were a couple things like that they really just glossed over
Like you said though I wasn't expecting this to be Shakespeare or anything so I wasn't really let down or disappointed
My girlfriend has been watching it and watched the last two episodes in theatres. She feels like episode 9 is the weakest episode and there's also a Lessons In Meme Culture video about fans' response to the ending
Oh I agree with her it's def not the best episode. I am sort of middle ground on it. Liked some of the ideas, felt the execution was lacking.
