The last time I trusted "the algorithm" was about 10 years ago when my friend sent me a link to a plastic ass sex toy. I clicked it without realising what it was.

Nope, turns out you can buy executive desk toys tops for like 200 bucks, and for months my app thought I was really into expensive office kitsch.
