Yeah, I'm communist and don't support China or the USSR. One of the main differences is that I'm an anarcho-communist, not an authoritarian communist. Not to mention, China still has sone capitalism to undo.
Not as much as you'd think because American meat doesn't taste the same as Canadian meat. Canada has stricter laws about adding a bunch of harmful crap to food than the US does, so our food tastes noticeably different. Even my girlfriend's parents have noted that American fast food tastes quite different.
I've heard of stories from other Canadians remarking on how American food tastes worse than ours as well.
As a disabled person, having to live on welfare sucks (alongside nation-wide disability benefits). Whenever someone asks what you do for a living, you can't answer the question without looking like complete white trash.
I honestly agree. Not to mention, (on another Lemmy account) I once got banned from the .ml meme group because I opposed the CCP and the USSR. I'm a Westerner, therefore I must know nothing besides propaganda 💀. If I believed in pure capitalist propaganda, I wouldn't be an anarcho-communist lmao.

I'm part of a religion and annoyed by most religious people (I'm not Christian brcause I'm converting to another religion that aligns more with what I personally believe). Irl, you'd never guess I was part of any religion because I know how to STFU. Sadly, a lot of religious people don't do that. I really hear you and it is frustrating to deal with.

I approve of this message. Rich people should not exist and the state should be run by the workers and not have any leader ruling with an iron fist. Letting one person make all the decisions always ends in chaos, tbh.
Me with the fact that I like Linux Mint and ZorinOS, but I don't understand how to make a single command in the terminal. Hypothetically, I know how to learn, but I'm too lazy to do it yet.
