Mixed feelings... I played like 3k hours of it when I was in college and enjoyed a lot of it but also a lot of it sucked.

At least I got to do my little gay-ass dress up games with my characters, and there was cool lore and art and music, and shooting things felt fun

in retrospect i kinda wish i got into it when it was still at its peak, a shooter with actually good raids and shit like that has been on my list of stuff i'd like to play

Post shadowkeep/pre beyond light was the peak for me I think. Still having all the content in the game, no weapon sunsetting, seasonal model felt fresh, seemed like we were building towards cool stuff in the story

If Destiny 3 happens I'm somewhat ashamed to say I'll be on it day one

Yeah, it's been a hell of a ride

I'm just glad the game isn't being shut down because for all the ups and downs, it was always something to boot up and enjoy with my friends

I remember playing the demo of the first game on the PS4 I think? And always wanted to get into it, but didn't have the money at the time. When the second one became free and I was interested again I was already on Linux so I couldn't play it. I know a lot of people love this game even with all the bs they do with the DLC, that's a shame.

Good thing I'm getting back into Warframe, at least I can quench the thirst for looter shooters.
