All discourse aside: If I, as a cishet guy, had to choose between going to a men's prison or being the only man in a women's prison, idk if the latter is even preferable. You're pretty much guaranteed to not have a clique to belong to. Maybe you're physically stronger than any other one inmate, but you can still get bullied by gangs. The staff will hate you cause there's gonna be a bunch of procedures just for you. Strong prospect that you will get laid at some point so that might make it all worth it for some people.
