Photoshop him taking it from a dead soldier and giving it to himself

[-] Hideakikarate@sh.itjust.works 53 points 1 month ago

He was already given a purple heart from a veteran, twice. Once in 2016, and again in 2024 after the assassination attempt.

[-] manxu@piefed.social 33 points 1 month ago

Never forget his borrowed Nobel peace prize!

[-] P1nkman@lemmy.world 26 points 1 month ago

At least his Fifa peace prize isn't borrowed!

[-] mercano@lemmy.world 19 points 1 month ago

No, that one was bought and paid for.

Thanks Obama.

[-] PedroMaldonado@lemmy.world 92 points 1 month ago

This is long past being a joke. Its really a nightmare, isn't it?

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 25 points 1 month ago

It was never not going to be. That supposed intelligent Americans would rather sit on the sidelines and allow it to happen - citing ‘moral grounds’ even - is appalling.

[-] 8oow3291d@feddit.dk 16 points 1 month ago

Republican voters could at any moment say "we won't vote Republican in the next election, unless Republican Congressmen impeach Donald Trump". And yet, they do not - rather the reverse, they would rebel if Republican Congressmen impeached Trump.

This is what 50% of America's active voters want. For them, Trump is still infinitely better than an Obama Presidency.

This guy is such a fucking asshole.

Seriously, he has surpassed even Ronnie Raygun at this point as far as being the worst president, at least in recent times. I wasn't sure it was possible to surpass the shitstain that is Ronnie Raygun, who up until Pedonald, had objectively the most criminal administration in history.

[-] SocialMediaRefugee@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago

The only thing more pathetic than him are the morons who got suckered into voting for him. I'm sure they are working on their rationalization for this now. They are like the fools who fall for romance scams and can't admit they were duped.

oh please do it. chefs kiss. the only bright spot from this guy is the way his life is just facade. Not an inch of depth anywhere. no actual love at all. all hate smiles.

[-] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago

If he weren't in such a powerful position where his shallow childishness was harmless, it would be hilarious how sad this dude is. This medal doesn't matter, ultimately. But apparently the thought that he might get an undeserving Nobel prize was all that held him back from starting multiple wars. He needs a full time ass kisser that praises him when he's not a complete psychopath to reinforce that behavior.

PLEASE do this, make sure to have lots of fanfare and a parade!

Also, I recommend promoting yourself to "Super General" and be sure to wear a military uniform with a gigantic hat.

Is the Medal of Honor enough? Given Trump's qualities, doesn't he warrant some form of higher award that would place him somewhere above all the existing Medal of Honor awardees?

The Medal of Honor has non-gold components. He could make a new medal out of solid gold. And call it whatever he wanted. The Medal of Extraordinary Honor, say.

[-] KnitWit@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago

Mike Johnson recently said they were considering creating a new award that would properly honor him.

[-] tal@lemmy.today 12 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Attaboy!

EDIT: Apparently they already awarded it, and it's gold!

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2026/03/26/trump-given-america-first-award-republican-party/89330333007/

Trump receives inaugural 'America First award' from Republican Party

"We’re going to do something we've never done before. We’re going to honor him with a new award that we'll present annually from this point forward, but he is the suitable and fitting recipient of the first-ever America First award," Johnson said. "We can think of no better title for what that is...that's this beautiful golden statue here, appropriate for the new golden era in America."

Trump does seem like the suitable and fitting recipient of the first-ever America First award!

[-] Living_Dead@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 month ago

Holy shit, this is the stupidest timeline.

Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho is fucking smarter than little don.

[-] absGeekNZ@lemmy.nz 22 points 1 month ago

President Camacho; chose the smartest person in the world to replace him; thereby showing an empathy and level of intelligence sadly lacking in the real world.

Oh please let him do it. Let him build his tacky ballroom, let him put his signature on the money, let him smear his feces on the declaration of independence. Future generations of Americans need embarrassing reminders of what can happen to America, reminders they can't ignore, and at least these don't have a body count attached.

Grandiose, thick-skinned NPD patients show a sense of uniqueness or superiority, attitudes of entitlement, a belief that others envy their abilities or status, low empathy, social dominance, superficial charm, disdainfulness or snobbery, and an exploitative interpersonal style characterized by manipulation and selfishness.

[-] SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social 16 points 1 month ago

I honestly expected him to have invented some sort of "American Peace and Greatness Nobel"-Prize by now. And award it to himself.

[-] Smaile@lemmy.ca 13 points 1 month ago

may as well at this point, army will put up with it and donald is already king, time for random coronations like the olden days :/

[-] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

Or he could just call up people who have received it (or their heirs if deceased), and have one of them give him theirs, like he did with the Nobel Prize. Maybe even several of them, so he can brag that he was awarded more Medals of Honor than anyone in history.
