Both, I like a good old 360 scrub.

What makes you think I shower?

[-] FinjaminPoach@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Generally in my own I'm side on but it really depends on the shower's geometry.

I face it and try to conquer the fear. Then I turn the shower on and swap between facing towards and away while the water warms up

[-] Object@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

Facing, but I use handheld one so I can point it anywhere I want. I was surprised this wasn't common in UK even though it's fully compatible.

I'm like a hot dog on a roller

I think people are vastly overestimating the amount of rinsing required for a shower. Scrubbing with soapy water is like 99.9% of the shower. You don't need a constant hose blast of fresh water to have enough water to do that and actually is probably removing the soap too early.

To answer the question, away because I'm not a sicko. But obviously turning to rinse when needed.

[-] Noodle07@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Aren't people turning the water off when scrubbing themselves with soap ??

[-] cockmushroom@reddthat.com 1 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I'm not a sicko

It's literally just tap water?

[-] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 weeks ago

The water comes from above you.. How do you face towards or away from it?

Both, I installed a double shower.

[-] thagoat@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 weeks ago

I do a hand stand and face the water

[-] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I have a rain shower

It's quite wonderful

[-] XeroxCool@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Facing away is my default position when not actively rinsing anything. Either half these comments are trying to be funny with their quips about washing their whole body or they take the faster showers in the world with no soak/relax time
