The early Trek fandom was mostly women horny for Kirk/Spock slashfic. They invented the concept and named it.
girls like rick and morty trek?
It's probably my favorite of the new series but I haven't gotten around to watching SNW yet.
After the first few episodes it has just about nothing in common with Rick and Morty except a vague visual style similarity.
I just want a workplace drama serial where competent, professional people do their jobs and encounter stuff while exploring space in a vaguely socialist/communist setting.
After growing up with it, new Star Trek isn't for me anymore and that's okay. I hope people enjoy the new stuff.
