I'm just happy for the red circle, without which I could never have completely understood this meme.
sensible chuckle

The red circle is for people who cannot see.

"Now I really get it!"

[–] [email protected] 61 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Thanks for the red circle. I nearly didn't notice that comment.

Omg does Lenny have a community for unnecessary red circles?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Just searched and didn't find any. Want to create one together? Haha

Just searched and didn't find any.

If only there was a red circle to help us find it!

[–] [email protected] 60 points 10 months ago

I'm so glad that red circle was there. I would have totally missed the joke.

What actually happened is far far worse.

She was the first American Girl doll who could hear, and they’ve gone and made her deaf.

Poor thing.

[–] [email protected] 37 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Ah that's the neat part, rest of them are spy dolls made by nsa

[–] [email protected] 10 points 10 months ago

dolls aren't real

[–] [email protected] 36 points 10 months ago (3 children)

can someone tell me where in the picture i’m supposed to be looking

[–] [email protected] 21 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

First look at slightly above center and read 2 lines in a centered window 80% of image width. Then aim for 95% down, 95% left and read a line 85% of image width.

Always happy to help the visually impaired appear normal in public!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 10 months ago

Could you add a flashing arrow pointing to where I should look. One for each step that is. Thanks

[–] [email protected] 13 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Are you the first doll from American Girl with eyesight loss?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 10 months ago

i just might be

[–] [email protected] 10 points 10 months ago

top right, thank me later

[–] [email protected] 21 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Note that it is not blind. It can still see you.

Whatever you say, Mr. Tom, a dildo lover.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago

Also this one comes with hearing aids. So it can still hear you, just not as well as the others.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 10 months ago

"I'm Talky Tina. And I have a cochlear implant."

[–] [email protected] 14 points 10 months ago

Also, why had that American girl been holding the doll captive?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Wow, finally, a doll for me!

  • no one
[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

That’s mean. HoH children will love the representation. They have very few relatable characters in media.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 10 months ago

I'm waiting for the first blind one

[–] [email protected] 8 points 10 months ago (3 children)

What was the title trying to say? I'm trying to read it from a different point but no results.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 10 months ago

The doll has a little hearing aid.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 10 months ago

Short answer is all American Girl dolls come with backstories and related gear. They also publish books with the dolls as the main characters

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 8 points 10 months ago

I didn't expect a doll to be characterized as having hearing loss, so nothing was adding up.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Well it’s nice to know that their new haunted doll cannot hear us. Unless of course we sign, or otherwise use our hands in an exaggerated manner while speaking.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I suspect the doll with hearing loss knows sign language.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Shit I need to go apologize to my haunted doll.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago

WAIT, I’M HAUNTED?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Remember when some cheap company sold a bunch of bald, unfinished Bratz dolls and tried to claim they were going through chemotherapy?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

That sounds amazing but I can't find that by searching for it. Do you have a link?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I’m presuming American Girl is a company, and not an UnSub

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Nah, just a random young female American who likes improsoning toys 🤷

She has a brother named Sid, evidently..

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

The thumbnail looks like a toy Sids sister would have actually

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Of course they can, haven't you seen Toy Story?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

Old but gold
