Put two of them next to each other diagonally: \\
One escapes the other and it will be treated like a regular item.

Not in terms of pure logic but definitely in practical terms. You don't get far in humanities if you only follow pure logic.

Does the cross mean "oh, it's actually only 3 things other than that one legendary dwarf", "hating elves" or "no relationships"?

Wrong number of texts, too

More like 10-15 cm but yes

"Börseverein" basically means "Stock Market Club". At least they're not subtle.

Both look very much like .NET development with C# in Visual Studio. Each of these way too much Microsoft for a Lemmy user to touch.

Person #2 is way too masculine and attractive. The people in picture #3 are way too close to touching grass and socializing. The furry (#4) is indeed the most believable.

Unless it's the 52Hz whale. I'd shed a tear for that lonely creature; not for that biologist though.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

Nice work but I see enough of this guy when searching for Lemmy online.

PCBWay's "contact" detail page includes gender. (You contact me on my phone number, email or gender.) Apparently, the third gender is "Secrecy". In HTML, the selector is called "sexuality". Maybe I can change the sex of the fake support agent's avatar?

Anyway, the HTML is questionable and so is the JavaScript: there is a GMT and China Time clock that shows seconds but as explicitly stated, it "updates every 5 minutes". Or at least it would if the timeout function wasn't broken. When I forcefully run it, it adds 5 minutes but subtracts a giant number of years (invisibly because the date does not update), eventually reaching 64bits' worth of microseconds ago and starting to show "NaN:NaN:NaN" in the date. Instead of fixing this, they limited the time update task scheduler to only run 10 times but it actually runs 0 times.

The problem: My download is fine but seeding is very slow and intermittent even for popular torrents. I think this could be improved using IPv6 via 6to4. 6in4 or 6rd, all of which are supported by my router, to discover more peers.

My ISP allowed me to forward the port so I am discoverable via IPv4, but doesn't support IPv6 and I understand the aforementioned technologies as a way to connect to a tunnel broker, which would forward my packets to the IPv6 internet.

However, they are another entity that can monitor my internet activity. Are there any, preferrably free, 6in4/6to4/6rd tunnel providers that are known to be torrent-friendly? Are there any firewall rules I should set up for my security, like only allowing IPv6 traffic to the qBittorrent port? My ISP doesn't care about torrenting so I haven't been using any kind of VPN. Should I?

Oddly enough, I have no problems seeding on a specifically Central European torrent tracker, which usually maxes out my measly 2 Mb/s DSL upload, but the dozens of peers at international trackers, some of which must be in Europe, barely leech data from me. Am I presumed to be slow because of a slow ping from the presumably American server, or is my disqualification from IPv6 so impactful? I find it strange as I can download from 20+ peers simultaneously and top out my 20 Mb/s plan.

Attempt at embedding video
Heard this sound at about 1200 kHz AM using an analog consumer radio in eastern Czech Republic. (Could be a superheterodyne mirror from another band, though.) What is this? I don't have an SDR or other ham equipment, this is just a mic recording.

I thought it could be useful to drive mice out of a garden shack but it was gone the next day.

Low-quality photo of a cleanly decapped chip with no resin around it, lying in a recessed rectangle in black plastic or ceramic. It is protected with some clear coat, and there are gold bond wires connecting it with 14 pins embedded in the package material. Two of them on opposing sides are connected and form a bed that the die.A structured square takes up most of the left half of the die and appears significantly darker. The rest is usual chip design with minor rectangular structures. The second photo uses crappy dusty lenses instead of digital zoom. It is slightly less cropped so it is revealed that the entire thing is within a deeper recess, possibly with a tab that keeps a cover on?

I don't have a camera better than my phone, sorry, and the magnifying glasses did not really help.

The pics are purposefully cropped to make the guessing a little harder. The chip continues to work now that I’ve undone this.

You may ask follow-up questions. I will post the full story and pics once you guess correctly.

~~Please use the spoiler syntax for your guesses so that people can enjoy guessing with follow-up hints without spoilers!~~ You really don't like doing this, apparently. I thought it would make it more fun for people to take a guess even after someone guesses correctly.

I will do the same with any hints and answers I post in the comments so that everyone can choose the difficulty.

Ein Gebäude, neben dem Sie am 11. September 2001 gerne stehen würden.

Meine Hommage: YT / Piped

Kaum lesbarer Text in meinem Video
