Why can the barbarian turn invisible at will?

[-] [email protected] 10 points 2 years ago

Hidden Step. As a bonus action, you can magically turn invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force someone to make a saving throw. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Sooo it shouldnt keep going after the first hit right ?

[-] [email protected] 4 points 2 years ago

Nope, but I'm sure that's just artistic liberty.

Nope, the Hidden Step ability can be used multiple times (equal to the proficiency bonus), activated at the start of each round. With a bit of clever planning of his moves, he can totally pull this off. The description from Volo's is obsolete, superseded by an updated one in Mordenkainen Presents.

Besides, we all know Volo's a bulshitter and gets things wrong :D

If you play a globrif you can only become visible once a day.

That was the description from Volo's, it was updated in Mordenkainen's. It's multiple times now, equal to proficiency bonus.

First time I've seen this comic, now I'm working my way through the archive - these are great! Lovely artwork, too.

Edit: just made a Tapas account to subscribe. Cheers!

Love this comic, as always. Though I do wonder where Angela's shield went between panels 4 and 8.

The cookie options on that site don't work on mobile. I was unable to opt out of a single cookie. If you want people to read it on your site, you may want to look into getting that changed

[-] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

... what site? There's a selection of various different options where you can follow it. I.E. if you don't like Tapas, go for Webtoon, etc... Sorry, no idea which one is giving you trouble :(

Linktr.ee I never got past that page, cause of the weird cookie settings on the page.

Well linktree wouldn't let me turn off any cookies on mobile, I'll try it on my laptop when I get home to see if it's better there.
