incoherent zerg screeching
On a defenetely unrealted note to me being a zerg main, I need to distro hop
Time to get spiraled

Wait, are you guys telling me that the Zerg logo is nearly identical to that of the tyranids from 40k or is that the actual combination of franchises going on here?
(Also yes, Debian, love it)
Iirc the zerg started out as tyranids but then the deal fell through, terrans were sm and protoss were eldar
I don't know much about 40k, but googling them now, they look similar!
Possibly semi intentional given that Warcraft was almost a Warhammer game and got plenty of artistic inspiration from it
Oh dang, that is really similar.
a starcraft linux meme 😻

I just switched to Debian on my secondary pc, with XFCE as the DE. My main pc is on an Arch-based distro (CachyOS) with KDE so it’s a bit of an adjustment but I’m liking it so far. My secondary pc is mostly just used for watching movies anyway so it doesn’t matter too much, but I like it better than Mint which is what it was running before. I still think I prefer CachyOS but it’s nice to have options.
Try Debian with KDE. Trixie has Plasma 6.
Yeah I remember reading about that recently. I did consider it but figured this would be a good time to try something new. I may eventually switch but I’m liking the change. Plus I still use KDE on my main machine.
I do like xfce. But Plasma is way better on resources than it has been in the past, and the consistency may be useful.
If you've got KDE Connect on your phone, you can even hit Ctrl+C on one computer and Ctrl+V on the other, your phone acting as a clipboard bridge.
Oh huh, that’s good to know. If I decide to switch from XFCE I’ll go to KDE.

StarCraft
Haha, same here.
Though for me it wasn't about the Zerg, I just liked the logo. That's how I got to Arch and that's (partly) why my servers use debian :D
