The fever really concerns me as that's a solid indication of an infection. And we're talking something internal so that worries me more because you can't really see what's going on and it's going to be close to lots of blood vessels... I'm voting strongly in favor of seeking medical attention. It's been days. If you actually can't walk still then that's not a good sign either.
I can walk somewhat, just not 10-20 miles, and the trip to wawa is only 1.5 miles (to fix the bike) and the hospital about 3. Feels good enough to walk now, just around the unit, but IDK once I start how I'll be holding up. Currently feel ok. And I've been getting opinions from two others heavily leaning towards going to the hospital. I'm thinking it's from severe irritation and it'll pass since I'm feeling relatively normal and feel like I could post prs or just not be out of commission in like one or two days from now. Discomfort when doing 'kegels' and maybe when I go to use the restroom again idk, last night was relatively ok and no blood from when it happened to now.
I've just been trying to get as much rest as possible
Well, I went. Vitals are calling me a liar now though. 98.7 temp and I'm assuming normal vitals all around. But here and queer. Maybe I'll just be given a script for antibiotics and be on my way, asking for emergency dental referrals while I'm here since that's been an issue for awhile and I've always been broke and every clinic I call needs mulah
I think you did the right thing even if it turns out to be nothing important. Better to get these things checked out (although your bank balance will beg to differ) because if you have a systemic infection then you're at risk of serious organ damage and shit like that. If it was 24 hours after and you had a mild fever then it's probably not a big concern but days after with serious fever is a different matter.
I'd get blood tests just in case. The timeframe is not a match for seroconversion but if you play rough or on the riskier side then it could be an STI of some type (though I'm not sure what else you've been up to or when.) It's probably something like mononucleosis but it's better not to blow it off if it's been persisting the way you've described.
No I think sti's are a long shot. I only play with those I trust. But the symptoms started within 24hrs of... Uhhh... Fun... And was on and off with the fevers yesterday and today. Butt yeah better to get it looked at just in case
Also also my back inner tube went out again, luckily I bought a 4 pack but in this moment in time it's tricky making my way to wawa, let alone ride the bike...
