we waited 3.5 years just to find out the flayed spider's home planet is a boring ass grand canyon desert palette swap instead of some cool well thought out and lore-maxed biome.
Yeah, that pissed me off too.
invested in not watching a single second of this slop after the piece of shit S2 and have been rewarded handsomely for it
After season 2 and the whole "We're just going to keep doing the same thing over and over" angle, I had no hope for the show having a satisfying conclusion
I guess you could say in the end... it doesn't even matter

IN YOU
THAT'S AS FAR AS I CAN GO
I watched it. Two hours. 1.5 hours in, the monster is defeated, the army miraculously disappears. Plenty of time for a jump scare, or a loose end to come back.
Nope. Just an extended attempt at sentimentality and a kind of where are they going next?
4/10
the army miraculously disappears.
I'm not a lawyer or anything but I'm pretty sure you can't conduct paramilitary raids on US Army bases, kill a bunch of troops, and then just go back to your normal lives a few months later because the government is all "Aww gee shucks! Looks like our multi-billion dollar lab blew up I guess we have to give up on whatever research was happening there."
Someone gimme the deets i aint ever gonna watch it.
