In many (if not all?) Condos, there are fewer parking spots than units, and the parking spots are deeded separately from the units. So when you buy a condo you don't necessarily get a parking spot, but you can get one separately. For like $100K I guess.

Cool country
"Hello yes, would you like to pay me 4 car MSRPs for a place to park your 5th car MSRP?"
i too love to pay 100k for a 300sqft plot of tarmac without walls
300sqft plot of tarmac without walls
Prolly less then half that honestly
Apparently the average size is 320 sq ft. Which is wild, that's a lot of space being used lmao
If you at least partially include the shared spaces in a parking garage that is needed so you can actually get in and out of your parking space at all times that sounds about right.
Yes but have you considered car bad train good?
What train?
In what city without trains is someone paying 100k for a parking space?
in a city with sufficient trains, the value of a parking space would plummet to a value lower than 100k.
Only if cars stopped being a status symbol.
Where is this? Honey get the kids we're moving to P3. Even got a fucking locker.
Rentierism is totally cool and productive
All those transactions with middlemen really bumps up the GDP numbers
100k for one parking spot? Good grief
Lol my landlord offered me a parking spot for $70/mo... in another building a 10 minute walk away.
We must bulldoze the suburbs, burn down all condos, build garden cities with train service only
