I mean I agree, but it sounds like you've never tripped balls to Long Season and it shows

it shows up, does what it means to do, and dips before getting stale.
I disagree.
I do think that every song being 3-4 minutes long for radio is bad though, gimme some variety
I like 1.5 minute songs and 7 minute songs a lot. But what Iβm desperate for more of is albums whose song lengths have a wide range and donβt cluster too much.
Post you favorite 90 second bangers here (any song under 2 minutes).
Basically all of AFI's Answer That and Stay Fashionable. There's a couple that are just a few seconds over 2 minutes, and one 3 minute long song.

Oh love me some end it
I hate to call out "favorites". But here's a decent one:
The clip is a bit longer, but the official release song is 93 seconds
Oh hell yeah.
For me the cut-off tends to be 3.5 minutes. Some music like metal and jazz in particular breaks that rule due to all the cool riffing, but modern rock and pop really does take a song that could sit nice at two or three but instead stretch it to five. Infuriating, really.

Honestly tho, depends on my mood, but I like both short and long songs.
wrong. 4 minutes minimum.
2-3 minutes is minimum, more than four and a half is too much
thank you for coming to my ted talk
The perfect song is about 30-45 seconds. The best genre? Powerviolence
I actually think around 5 minutes is the perfect song length for most songs. The 4-6 minute range is where most of my favourite songs lie in. Unless it's some quick hardcore punk or something, then 1 to 2 minutes fits.
