The Americans perfected the global infinite money murder system and turbo-charged it, which prevented a bunch of national liberation movements from ever achieving material improvements compared to what they could have done. They also successfully delayed industrial development of those nations for a long time, which I guess europeans would agree with.

It ends with Nazis killing Hank, who just happens to be the mainstream European left who excused NATO jingoism only to be too late in the end to fix anything as the Nazis plunder Europe in a wave of far right governments who will eventually steal the imperialism formula for themselves after a few short moments of pretending to be nationalistic
