It's strange how people are like "America is bad, so the people they don't like must be good!" Corrupt governments crave control, so they don't like other corrupt governments because they're competing with them for that control. The American government is bad, the Chinese government is bad, the Russian government is bad - nearly every person in power in the world has gotten to that position by being evil, and would do terrible things to get further ahead. It's not about which country's government is good, it's about the citizens of all countries coming together to fight against global corruption in all governments.

citizens of all countries coming together to fight against global corruption in all governments

How does this happen exactly?

The American government is bad, the Chinese government is bad, the Russian government is bad -

Only one of these nuked civilians.

it's about the citizens of all countries coming together to fight against global corruption in all governments.

This is a dweeb take.

Been seeing a lot of posts frantically defending China today in the meme community, from like the same 2 or 3 accounts. Kinda weird.

This is a 3 year old post in the Lemmygrad meme community. There's probably a meme community on each instance.

Lemmygrad is specifically communist, so defending China comes with the territory.

Kind of weird you're here, though.

Huh, weird. Didn't notice it was 3 years old. It showed up in "all" even though I was sorting by hot.

It looks like there are a couple other new comments in here, but I'm not sure how it started getting traction! Maybe it's a Lemmy bug, or something.

Has to be a bug. I was sorting by hot too

I'm relatively anti-authoritarianism, but this is a reductionist garbage-post
