This is a 3 year old post in the Lemmygrad meme community. There's probably a meme community on each instance.
Lemmygrad is specifically communist, so defending China comes with the territory.

Huh, weird. Didn't notice it was 3 years old. It showed up in "all" even though I was sorting by hot.
It looks like there are a couple other new comments in here, but I'm not sure how it started getting traction! Maybe it's a Lemmy bug, or something.
