In the EU there's a limit on how much pedal assistance an e-bike is allowed to provide (250W). There is no limit on how much pedal assistance an exosceletton is allowed to provide.

There are consumer exoskeletons in the US these days.

Interesting. Before seeing the video, I thought it would be alleviating pressure in the joints but here the joints are still taking in all the load of your body? It's only helping you move forward.

I've been hiking all my life, and I think the pressure on my joints are more of a concern than stamina. for me, at least.

But for an excursion, this must be like using a cheat code.

Gee, I wonder why hiking up a historic mountain staircase wouldn't wind you or tax your muscles as much as regular people.

Pfft. Everywhere else you can watch TV and eat pizza.

Lol. Nothing beats that.

“Visitors often find these mountainous scenic spots especially hard on the legs,” a member of staff from the Hubei site’s operating company told domestic media.

And that's why we built an exoskeleton that doesn't cover the knees!

Just let eletrics bikes to me. I would rather people doing some movement and see the world than not.

Hiking is a real pain on the buttocks.

You know that feeling of triumph you get when you do something physical and conquer it? Like climbing a new mountain or shooting some awesome rapids? I bet it feels like nothing when you climb using these. Sense of accomplishment? Pffft.
