Fun fact: Spider-man wasn't allowed to punch enemies in that show.
That's pretty cool.
It's okay: we had Mortal Kombat to teach us to punch our friends.

It also seems like every gun in the show was a laser gun.
This was a super cool show back in the day, but watching it now, I can't help but notice the low frames of animation. It looks very choppy, unfortunately.
IIRC old school animation was only something like 16-20 fps. If you want to see really choppy animation check out the 60s Hulk cartoon. It's more like one of those motion comic books than a cartoon. Then there's always 60s Spider-Man which reused assets constantly, including outright pulling entire episodes from another show and sticking Spidey into them (with hilarious results).
This was THE show I still remember from my childhood (plus Power Rangers). Really hoped they would release a final season when it was acquired by D+
