America's got billions of dollars to kidnap people, but not enough federal dollars kicking around to solve homelessness by, you know, building homes people can freely live in?

Or give treatment and help for mental issues that Republicans seem to care about for a few days after every major shopting?

Right? It’s weird. It’s ALMOST like they actually don’t care at all about the poors and really just want to make their billionaire buddies happy.

Thank goodness THAT isn’t the case.

It would be even worse if the only alternative was purely performative when it came to class issues and only better because they’re contrasted against literal fascists. That would be a truly sorry state of affairs for the BEST COUNTRY ON EARTH. Good thing it’s just a money problem.

A true left-leaning future government would look back on this and say:

"Last term we spent X billion dollars on immigration enforcement. Now that that's done, this term we're going to spend exactly the same amount on solving hunger and homelessness."

But, you know.

The biggest mystery is which minority he's going to imprison there next. The homeless? The vaccinated? LGBTQ+? Women who've had abortions? Black people? His political opponents?

Which of your neighbours will he come for next? And when will you do something to stop it?
