Cops have been denying the existence of quotas for decades. Not surprising.

On Thursday, Trump himself told supporters in farming and the hospitality business that more “common sense” was needed in how the Department of Homeland Security approached removals of “very good workers, they have worked for [American farmers] for 20 years.” Trump further acknowledged that his administration “can’t take farmers and take all their people and send them back.” By Saturday, ICE leadership formally directed its agents to stop all enforcement on agriculture, restaurants and operating hotels, effective immediately. Investigations that have to do with human trafficking, money laundering or drug smuggling were given the green light to continue.

Friday: Judge Bars Expedited Deportations of Migrants Paroled Into U.S.
A federal judge in Washington barred the Trump administration on Friday from summarily removing hundreds of thousands of migrants who had been paroled into the United States after fleeing instability or violence in their home countries, blocking an aggressive push by the Department of Homeland Security to deport noncitizens.
The move came in a ruling by Judge Jia M. Cobb of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that blocked the administration’s termination of a Biden-era program that allowed migrants fleeing Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Haiti to stay in the United States for up to two years. The ruling halted, for now, the rapid removal of individuals paroled into the United States “at any time.”
Also Friday, DOJ: “neither Ice leadership nor its field offices have been directed to meet any numerical quota or target for arrests, detentions, removals, field encounters, or any other operational activities that Ice or its components undertake in the course of enforcing federal immigration law.”
I wonder why anyone would even think they ever had quotas?
They're paying bonuses, ie bounties, for the victims. There's no need for quotas when bounties per head are being paid.
