Has there been a natural disaster in Texas that he didn't run away from?

If anything, I would have expected him to be super into NOAA just so he knows when to fly to Cancun.

He was probably given access the NOAA VIP subscription.

More importantly, he stayed on vacation after the disaster.

Looks like the flood happened on the 4th and ted was seen in Texas on the 7th.

On Saturday, July 5, at about 6 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET)—more than 24 hours after the Guadalupe River burst its banks—Cruz and his wife were spotted by a Swamp spy lining up outside the iconic tourist site.

“He was with his family and a lone security guard,” said an eyewitness at the Parthenon. “As he walked past us, I simply said, ‘20 kids dead in Texas and you take a vacation?’

“He sort of grunted and walked on. His wife shot me a dirty look. Then they continued on with their tour guide.”

"Yeah, what do I care about some dead poors? I'm getting re-elected regardless."

Rafael is like a groundhog...

If he won't show his shadow in Texas, watch out for extreme weather.

If he pops his head up, it'll be a nice sunny day

“People were sleeping in the middle of the night when the flood came,” said Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary. “That was an act of God; it’s not the administration’s fault the floods hit when it did.”

Damn, why would God do this, Karoline?

Be careful with that question because they will blame everything except themselves.

[-] [email protected] 10 points 3 days ago

Gotta love shoving the blame on to God when you could have prevented or helped. Instead, you slash funding. IT'S YOUR FUCKING FAULT.

A very loving god, it seems.

Senator Rafael 'Cancún' Cruz running away from his constituents during weather crises? Well, I never!

[-] [email protected] 12 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Rafael always flees the country when those he represents need him there. He was in Mexico when their janky third world power grid collapsed during winter weather.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago

It's what makes him so endearing and re-electable.

Ted Cruz killed 27 campers and counselors you say?

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 days ago

At this point we have to conclude that Texas enjoys the humiliation.

If you can't pay for a private forecaster, you deserve what Republican Jesus gives you. /s

The warnings went out hours ahead of time and the officials in charge failed to react.

But hey! These critics say otherwise! And when I say "critics say otherwise" I actually mean that critics criticized funding cuts. And when I put that quote next to a quote from a politician, it can trick people into thinking they're saying what I said they're saying!

This article is shit. Who gets high of this? It doesn't do anything for me.

They already had a chance to kick him to the curb, and didn’t.

This is just fluff.

[-] [email protected] 5 points 3 days ago

They will still keep voting for him as long as Trump lives.
