Trump is fundamentally a dumbass and I think that the TACO but is genuinely going to encourage him to wreck the economy more. His persona probably matters more than any other president in recent history, for example Syria managed to get partial sanctions relief by simply calling him a "God sent man of peace".

They got that because their leader is a religious extremist asset of the CIA and west who is acting in their favor, in their name, in their interests and deposed Assad and is kissing the ring of the west and their wants. That's what matters. He's not perhaps their first choice but they want to reward that kind of behavior and prostration he's shown, give him some treats and get him to cooperate, threaten to slap the sanctions fully back on if he acts out in any way. It's not unusual at all for the west to partially lift sanctions in situations like this.

I'm ambivalent towards it... Because on the one hand, it's the one insult that has been able to really get to him lately. It's hard to make regular insults stick to him, but when you do he's really precious about it. He's like a wine glass covered in Teflon. And god knows anything that makes a piece of shit fash uncomfortable or upset is something I love.

It's so fucking stupid and it's not even remotely funny. It just feels like the Dems are using chud name calling and I'm kind of done with feeling like all these people never made it out of the school playground mentality.
It's a big reason that a lot of these people will never see the light and come to the left. To them, this is the height of activism. Make a mean nickname and daydream about throwing a taco festival outside the white house? Like he won't even be home. They will never get the permits. The whole thing would be one giant waste of resources, dead animals and single use plastic.

I had a lion's mane taco for lunch. Great flavor. Would do it again somewhere that knows that that much stuff should go on three tiny tortillas instead of one medium one.
3 small tacos as a meal is bullshit. I went to what was supposed to be a fairly upscale vegan place and they had a 3 different taco thing for a main and it was basically the same thing that my work (explicitly not fancy vegan place) had for half the price as an app. A jackfruit pulled pork one, a marinated tofu one and a lions man one. They were good but also something I ate at work for free, it was the exact same thing as our app
