It's like how conservative voters love the affordable care act but hate Obamacare.

For them, it's about the packaging and unfortunately their leaders are great at packaging.

I've never understood that. I don't care how well-packaged a rancid turd happens to be, I'm not interested in rancid turds.

You might have a disease called "critical thinking skills" then. You might want to see a doctor about that.

They’re fans of professional sports.

Hell, they think professional wrestling is real.

Part B of the formula is that these republican representatives frame voter initiatives as the city-dwelling liberals abusing the system by forcing their city views on poor rural folk since the states are so gerrymandered.

Conservatives love to pretend to be the beaten down minority fighting for their rights. It's one of their cosplays they do.

The issue is that americans vote on identity. They don’t vote about policies.

Look at Arkansas.

A freaking Nuclear Engineer from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) came up a solid plan to improve Arkansas. He visited all 75 counties.

He lost by double digits against Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She barely campaigned.

The issue is that many americans simply vote on identity. They don’t vote about policies.

this is exactly why i don't feel like there is anything i can do. the problem is entirely out of anyone's hands. it's all cancer.

You don’t get to vote for the GOP and then complain that they’re not progressive enough. Vote for a fucking progressive if you want to get progressive policies enacted. Your lawmakers are doing exactly what you hired them to do… fucking over the people in every way possible. You’re just mad because you assumed you would be exempt from the fuckening.

Yet, they will still vote for whatever trash shows up on the GOP ticket.

True sheep.

No-one hates democracy like a Republican.
