Working 100% remote for the last 10 years has been immensely helpful. Although the rise of being forced into mandatory fun retreats and always on video chats kinda defeats it. I muddle through it though.
my plan was to buy trimmer for haircut today. But I ended up with high blood pressure and newly arrived refrigerator.
Congratulations on your new appliance!
its my parents refrigerator. They have 2 and I have zero lol
Might not be casual but I really fucked up an answer yesterday and there’s no reversing the consequences. If I cut my tongue out will that solve it? No, they’ll commit me and still ask questions too quickly for me to write what I mean clearly.
“Why can't you be normal!?" Ummm why can't you be weird?
Define “normal”. I am “normal“, whatever “normal” means. Everyone else is weird — why can’t people say what they mean, instead of vaguely hinting and expecting me to know what they mean?

How is autism tested for?
It depends on the age of the person. Babies and toddlers are generally tested by physicians and specialist focusing on eye contact and mirroring behavior. Older children are usually diagnosed by a mental health professional such as a therapist, or psychologist. Adults may find an informal test online if they suspect they are autistic. And in many cases if an adult does not already have a therapist, they may seek one out for a formal diagnosis. I'm not an expert and this is a very general overview.
