Donald Trump wants to know who exactly Harvard’s international students are—and why the countries they hail from aren’t paying up.

Trump claimed the Ivy League university has not been forthcoming about how much of its student body international students make up in an early-morning screed on Sunday.

“Why isn’t Harvard saying that almost 31% of their students are from FOREIGN LANDS, and yet those countries, some not at all friendly to the United States, pay NOTHING toward their student’s [sic] education, nor do they ever intend to,“ Trump wrote.

It's long past time to start the process of declaring him unfit and removing him from office. He's not just corrupt and power-hungry and deceitful - he's dangerously unhinged.

The authority of the Presidency cannot be left in the hands of somebody who is, as he so plainly is, profoundly mentally ill.

Tell me one person in power willing to do that. Hint: there are none or it would have already happened.

Which makes the fact that he's clearly deranged and thus self-evidently unfit for office that much more significant, and it's that much more important that it be reiterated atvevery opportunity.

Do you know who has to make that declaration? Per the 25th Amendment:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

In other words, the people who would have to invoke the 25th and declare him unfit, are the very Project 2025 graduates in his cabinet that are already pulling his strings and getting everything they want.

So?

Unless you want to argue that their likely refusal to carry out their sworn duties somehow frees them from any obligation to do so, that's entirely irrelevant.

Since they do in fact continue to have that obligation in spite of their likely refusal, it's just that much more important that we point that out as often and as loudly as possible.

It doesn't matter how edgy and cynical you are while you bend over to let them fuck you - you're still letting them.

I think that's actually the foundation for his mental illness. He really is, emotionally, a child, and fitting his childish emotional development to the realities of an adult world has so warped his perception of reality that he really is, by any appropriate measure, delusional and deranged.

as he so plainly is, profoundly mentally ill.

Not only that, but really really stupid.

Like... Extremely fucking stupid.

They all have student visas, one would think the govt has that information. I wonder if Chainsaw Musk broke that system

[-] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Lol the real reason he wants to know who they are is because doge fucked up the whole system and they have no idea whose on a visa and who isn't.

Probably. I wouldn't be surprised. Don't treat this as factual. It's a hypothetical.

Totally normal presidential behavior.

Totally demonstrative of a president upholding and protecting the constitution, and the First Amendment in particular.

[-] [email protected] 11 points 2 weeks ago

In his defense, he's never actually read it. It has barely any pictures.

Attention to Detail, and Donald Trump are mutually exclusive.

...yet those countries, some not at all friendly to the United States, pay NOTHING toward their student’s [sic] education, nor do they ever intend to...

I think you just answered your own question numbnuts... We take them in because it means highly educated people for the US and less for our enemies.

[-] [email protected] 37 points 2 weeks ago

I'm confused why the students' countries need to pay if the students themselves are paying.

[-] [email protected] 23 points 2 weeks ago

The fucker doesn't understand the complexities of foreign student tuition tables, he bankrupted casinos.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

What he means is that those countries are not paying the individual Donald trump for the privilege. Its always grift with the guy

[-] [email protected] 27 points 2 weeks ago

pay NOTHING toward their student’s [sic] education, nor do they ever intend to,“ Trump wrote.

???

Universities with high (undergrad) international student populations usually do so because they charge international students higher tuition than local students.

As for grad students, that’s a way to import high-skill workers and also grad students typically are highly underpaid for the kind of work they do while working towards their degree.

I hope Harvard tells him to fuck himself so hard his asshole envelops himself & he disappears into his own asshole.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

Holeception. He must envelope deeper!

Wait, isn't this how black holes start, by folding in on themselves?

[-] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

It's probably for the best.
