Whats more important is that the entire thread of conversation is fucking irrelevant. You cannot just put a label on someone and say they cant have their day in court because of the label, that is literally fascism.

They’re fucking masters at using ad hominem to derail the conversation. Just look at George Floyd or Kyle Rittenhouse. With Floyd, they dragged up his entire history to justify murder. With Rittenhouse, they excused a psychopath who drove an hour and a half with the intention of killing protestors by spreading lies that his victims were pedophiles or criminals as if that retroactively justifies vigilantism.
And now they're doing it all over again. If they throw a scary enough label at this guy people will retroactively support their decision to throw out due process and send the super scary gang member off the gulag. It’s never about truth or justice. It’s about justifying state violence and empowering the people who carry it out. If they can dehumanize someone enough, suddenly due process doesn’t matter. That’s fascism.

I absolutely thought the “MS13” was being portrayed as labels for what the actual tattoos meant. That he was claiming they were actual additional tattoos is utterly bonkers.
I feel like Photoshopped isn't really the right word here, you can very easily do much much better using Photoshop. I believe this was actually done using Microsoft Word, just pasted in the image and dragging the letters on there as textboxes. Maybe even Outlook or something, it looks terrible
I honestly believe his staff quickly threw the labels on as nonsensical interpretations, but after trump believed those labels were inked on Garcia's knuckles they've just rolled with it. Weaponized stupidity to the extreme.

Can someone explain how these symbols are supposed to represent "MS-13"? I'm trying, but I can't get further than "M is for Marijuana"... S is for Smile? 1 is for Cross?? 3 is for Skull??? What in the numerology is going on...
No one can explain it because it's nonsense. Back before trump was a thing, I saw a documentary on MS-13 - their tattoos were not subtle or coded. Many members had it literally written across their face or chest.

What even is MS-16?
Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) is a criminal ("terrorist", now) organization out of California. It was initially made up of Salvadoran teenagers that escaped the country during civil war back in the 80s, as they banded together forming street gangs to fight and protect themselves from the larger LA gangs that would extort migrants. Over time the gang evolved into a full criminal organization while expanding to activities like international trafficking, kidnapping and murder.

Before I get into my comment, I want to reiterate that it does not matter what his tattoos do or do not say, that he was kidnapped and illegally deported, and now they are using false ‘evidence’ to prove their case, without ever having held a trial? This is fascism. What has happened to him is illegal, and he deserves justice. He should be returned, and everyone who had a hand in this should be brought to justice.

They were trying to show Trumplestiltskin that those symbols are actually meant to be hidden letters/numbers.
Trump was then arguing that the tiny little letters were actually on his hand. He argued about it for 5 minutes. Total. Fucking. Moron.
