They found the smartest person in the world and listened to them to fix their problems... Not at all accurate.

This is exactly why we need unions. Just like not having weekends off, it's normal until it isn't.

Israel is slowly losing the support it needs to get away with this genocide...

Again, I really hope you can see how your logic works in reverse. In so far as all Palestinians are guilty, all Israelis are as well.

Propaganda can really cook a brain, eh?

From my perspective, we've got two rogue terrorist organizations murdering civilians en mass - one much more well funded and more effective at slaughter than the other.

You'd best be willing to extend that logic to all Israelis then, as the crimes of "settlers" and others Israeli civilians against Palestinians are very well documented.

But we're just starting with a conclusion here, aren't we?

There really is No True Scotsman. Well done.

The worst is when they install bike infrastructure that will just randomly end and dump you onto a busy street, and then complain no one is using the fancy new bike lanes...

I don't think that's true, unless someone wants to find a better source. But the bible passages listed on Wikipedia are pretty clearly about food.

The Brits have undoubtedly the best outlets from a safety perspective, despite their size. North American outlets are garbage by basically all measures. European plugs are weirdly round, but very functional.

Shireen Abu Akleh. There's a video showing what happened leading up to her death.

Which movie is it? You can't leave a review like that without a title!

How is work-life balance measured? Is this self-reported data? What does the percentage mean?

From their website:

""" Life-work balance is an evolving definition, describing how we juggle our personal lives alongside the demands of our careers. Remote has coined the term to describe the increasing trend of people putting life first and work second.

Strong life-work balance extends beyond the ability to work from home. Measuring life-work balance with accuracy considers a number of the most important impacting factors ranging from payment rate to inclusivity. Putting Europe to the test, we conducted an index data analysis to reveal the top countries to live and work across the old continent. Would you consider a move abroad in search of a greater balance between your personal life and career?

The European Life-Work Balance Index assesses focuses on the countries situated in Europe, ranking the quality of life-work balance across each nation. The index considers a variety of vital factors including:

Healthcare
Minimum wage
Maternity leave
Statutory annual leave
Sick pay
Overall happiness levels
Average working hours
LGBTQ+ inclusivity

"""

Kind of arbitrary set of data to be calling a work life balance index, but what do I know...
