Trump ~~Make~~ 's Bonkers ~~Claim About All His Trade Deals~~

FTFY

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 days ago

For the record, there are 195 recognized countries on the planet, including the US.

That means he'd have struck a deal with literally every country on earth, including countries like North Korea that we never had trade deals with in the first place, and six that don't exist. Maybe he made a deal with those penguins?

Everything he says is a lie. No surprise, he isn't forthcoming with a list. Convict the 34 count felon.

Beijing described Trump as a paper tiger, looks threatening, but folds and collapses under the slightest pressure.

He also doesn't look threatening...

Fear of clowns is a common. What internal demons possess a man, causing them to paint their faces in ridiculous unnatural hues. Or wear baggy ridiculous clothing. Taint natural I tells ya!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Please don't evoke images of Trump's taint.

It's true in Trump's case, but it's also a cliche they use for anything they don't approve of.

They seem to have dropped Mao's old favorite, "running dog curs of Western imperialism" though.

If nothing else, Trump will have managed to make the quintessentially British word "bonkers" mainstream in the US.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago

It already is

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 days ago

Well that hardly narrows it down

"And on behalf of the American people, I own the store, and I set prices,"

I am not from the US and I really can't believe, a convicted man that lied in his first term is president again.

Also I can't believe there are people still rooting for and defending him, while his behavior is obviously erratic to say the least and clearly not in favor of the people that voted for him.

And I can't believe people are still surprised he is lying. Again.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

It's mass delusion.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They don't see any of that like they literally live in a different reality. Something like 30% of our population is in the Trump conservative media environment.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Conservative media environment?

Its called the Conservative Propaganda Machine, and it exists by design. Dick Cheney and Roger Ailes created it in the wake of Watergate, because they felt like the Republican party had no allies in the mainstream media to defend Nixon, so they decided to create an alternative media that would be on their side.

Ailes gets credit for it for creating Fox News in 1996, but it started long before that, with Rush Limbaugh and the enormous number of conservative radio talk shows that exploded after Reagan abolished the Fairness Doctrine in 1987.

Today we have families that have grown up with three generations steeped in concervative propaganda, discussing "politics" over the kitchen table that are nothing more than deliberate lies. They think they live in a world where Blue state schools have litterboxes for students who identify as Furries.

Well, Trump lied. Again, sad, but no news.
